Company History
In 2019, God put it on Cat Dowling’s heart to start working for Him and to serve the business community as a Leadership Development and HR consultant. She opened Grow Lead Give, the parent company of HR Bee Partners. In early 2024, Cat heard Him tell her to dial in further on HR Consulting and to begin working with Christian businesses. She listened because He is the CEO of this business.
As Cat began to formulate a plan for a new business entity with HR as the focus, the image of a bee kept coming to her. She quickly realized how bees and their hives are a great model for the people-side of business operations.
Bees epitomize the ideal workforce, each playing a vital role in the hive’s success and harmony. Much like dedicated employees bees are industrious, collaborative and goal-oriented. In a well-functioning hive, every bee knows its specific duties, from gathering nectar to protecting the colony, mirroring how each worker in an organization contributes uniquely, yet cohesively toward common objectives. This natural synergy highlights the power of teamwork, where individual contributions guided by a shared mission create a thriving and productive environment.
Biblically, bees symbolize diligence and prosperity as evidenced by their role of making honey, a sign of God’s provision and abundance.
Plus, it gave the company a cool way to use HRBP for short. In organizations, Human Resource Business Partners or HRBPs, are your strategic partners in the function of people management. That’s ultimately who we are and why we want to help you.
About Your Managing Partner
Cat Dowling has over 25 years’ experience in corporate America and spent the majority of those years leading HR initiatives and teams for big industry players like Darden Restaurants, Holiday Inn Club Vacations, and Winn-Dixie Supermarkets. She’s passionate about HR and helping leaders and employees thrive in the workplace.
Cat lives in Northern Virginia, where she’s active in her church and other community organizations. In her free time, you’ll find her spending time with friends and family, traveling, reading or listening to a podcast.
